On the morning of March 10, the keel-laying ceremony for the RV Mekong Romance cruise vessel was solemnly held at the SSIC Shipyard, marking an important milestone in the development of the luxury Mekong River cruise project. 
The event was attended by representatives of Focus Travel Group – the project investor, leaders of SSIC Shipyard, along with partners and invited guests. The ceremony not only signified a new step forward in the construction progress of the Mekong Romance cruise but also demonstrated the close collaboration between the involved parties in developing a high-quality river tourism product for the market.
In the shipbuilding industry, the keel-laying ceremony is a significant ritual that marks the stage when the vessel’s hull begins to take shape on the slipway – a foundational phase in the construction and completion of the ship.
